There are 4,000 of these coins minted by the Royal Canadian Mint, produced with proof quality. The diameter of the coin is 50 mm. it was created to honor Canada’s 150th Confederation anniversary. These coins were released in Canada 150 collection in order to praise and memorize the most honorable events of the nation.
Steve Hepburn has created the 360° picture located on the reverse side of the coin. It shows the massive diversity of Canadian nature. According to the Royal Mint, each animal or plant represents certain territory and province of Canada.
In the very center you can see the legendary image of maple leaf – the symbol of Canada. The engravings state CANADA, 30 DOLLARS, 2017 along with designers SH initials.
These series is minted as legal tender of Canada. On the obverse side the picture of the Queen Susanna Blunt can be seen.
